Our Pastor

Pastor Tedrick J. Mills is the founder of “THEE PREVAILING” Church.  A devoted spiritual leader, servant and community builder, he is truly passionate about reaching and teaching all people about the reality and power of Jesus Christ.  His heart is to give to the community and create programs to help those in need.  He is passionately committed to unconditional outreach, making disciples and leading “THEE PREVAILING” Church in honor and integrity.

 Pastor Mills founded “THEE PREVAILING” Church on the Word of God, love for the community, and the need to build strong families.  His hope is for God to grow the church based on this scripture “…upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” Matthew 16:18.  He truly creates the atmosphere for God to build a church that the gates of hell will not prevail against.

Pastor Mills completed his Bachelor’s degree in Theology at Louisiana Baptist University.  He co- pastored at Celebration Church for four years under the leadership of Pastor Dennis Watson. 

 Pastor Mills is honored to be married to Minister Ashley Mills.  She has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from The Florida State University,  a certificate in Cross Cultural Theology from Fuller Seminary and a Master's Degree in Educational Technology Leadership from Northwestern State University.  Min. Ashley has ministered the Gospel throughout the world and shares Pastor Tedrick's deep passion to advance the kingdom of God. They have four wonderful children.
